Junior Herpers at the Chatsworth Reservoir will gather at the Plummer gate where Jarron Lucas will guide the group around the reservoir to do a population count of wildlife and to look at the various field study sites.  The study sites (aka “litter piles” are habitats created out of wood, tin, and other objects.  Other activities will be to search for and remove non-native plant species.  Junior Herpers will meet monthly throughout the year and go through different phases  of this project. click here for list

To participate in this activity, you must be a SWHS member and you must make a reservation.  Only RSVPs by email will be accepted. All adults must include their CA Drivers License Numbers. If you plan to pick up a herp, please bring your CA Fishing License. We will meet at the Plummer Gate at 8 am and will be in there until noon.
