Junior Herpers at the Chatsworth Reservoir will gather at the Plummer gate where Jarron Lucas will guide the group around the reservoir to do a population count of wildlife and to look at the various field study sites. The study sites (aka “litter piles” are habitats created out of wood, tin, and other objects. Other activities will be to search for and remove non-native plant species. Junior Herpers will meet monthly throughout the year and go through different phases of this project.
To participate in this activity, you must be a SWHS member and you must make a reservation. Parents or guardians will need to provide a California driver’s license.
