Our rattlesnake wranglers are at it again! Channel 2, Los Angeles, carried this report: Worst Job I Ever Loved: Snake Teacher

We have made the news again! ABC, Channel 7, Los Angeles covered a rattlesnake handling training session that Roy Malleappah, Joe Banashek, Jarron Lucas, Moses Drake, and Joe Banashek Jr. presented to Riverside Animal Control. Here is the link to the video on ABC's web site: Rattlesnakes.

Members are allowed to bring, but not sell, animals. Everyone is welcome at our meetings membership is not required. Although the business portion of our meeting begins at 7:30 pm, many folks show up early to help the Master at Arms set up chairs. Coming early also allows time to show off critters they have brought with them, ask questions about problems they may be having with their critters and tell about "the beauty that got away." We try to complete business by 8:00 to allow our speaker as much time as possible before we have to vacate the building by 9:30.

Chapter officers meet on the first Tuesday of the month.We meet at various officers' homes and begin at 7:00 pm. Any member is welcome to attend. Call the president for meeting location.

Casey Burns, staff biologist for the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service will speak on wildlife habitat preservation and restoration.
